If you don’t get this reference, you’re too young for tumblr.
are you fucking kidding me pixar puts out a movie ever year a baby would get this reference
it’s not pixar it’s a reference to that time in 1994 when lamps became sentient humanoids
many were lost that day
It was a grim day for mankind. My parents took refuge in a cave and thus saved us from certain death; we lived close to a lamp factory at the time and the surrounding region was utterly devastated in the conflict.
My brother fought one off using only an egg whisk and a pogo stick.
Only 90s kids remember the Lampocalypse
My father still has the scars from where one stole his kidney

A digital file can be replicated infinitely at near-zero marginal cost; the same pattern of information can exist in an unlimited number of places simultaneously. A digital file can be replicated infinitely at near-zero marginal cost; the same pattern of information can exist in an unlimited number of places simultaneously. See? I just did that with the copy-and-paste function of my browser. Try doing that with jewelry from Macy’s. You can’t “steal” a digital song or movie — the act of replication doesn’t affect the copies already in others’ possession, but only increases the number of copies in the world. That’s why copying is not theft. Likewise, you can’t deny the world access to information by removing the copy from one website.

List of things that were also law until they were repealed:
1. Slavery
2. 3/5 Compromise which meant slaves were only 3/5 of a person
3. Prohibition
4. A man can beat his wife but only once a month
5. All Hawaii residents must own a boat or face a fine
6. Japanese-Americans, regardless of citizenship, were legally interned in California during WWII
7. Voter knowledge tests
8. Oral sex is illegal in Maryland
9. Slave catchers were allowed to go north and kidnap blacks, regardless if they were free or not, in the Fugitive Slave Act of 1850So, you arrogant son of a bitch, something being law doesn’t mean it can’t be repealed.
Or that it’s moral.
